Co-ordinating climate change action in Leeds on 2 Nov

How to build a co-ordinated movement on climate change?

Climate change campaigners in Leeds are holding a meeting to discuss ways in which we can build a co-ordinated movement on climate change in our city. Those involved so far include Campaign against Climate Change, Reclaim the Power, Stop Climate Chaos, & Tidal.

Campaigns we could work together on include:
•    Against fracking in Leeds and Yorkshire
•    For public transport (E.g: Action for Rail)
•    For creation of new climate change jobs in Leeds and community renewables.
•    Action against fuel poverty in Leeds

We are sure there are more issues we have not thought of. Bring your ideas and let’s change life in Leeds – and the world – for the better!

We welcome climate campaigners, trade union activists and other interested people to join us.
