Headingley Lit Fest 5 March to 2 April

A cornucopia of culture is about to arise in Headingley, Leeds with a succession of events in March. Because Taking Soundings is unashamedly biased towards staff at Leeds Beckett University, we particularly recommend the talks by Janet Douglas nd Doug Sandle. (They were on the staff when it was called Leeds Poly.) Our friends at Salon have an interesting event on Oscar Wilde too. And anything that includes Alison (aka AJ) Taft is bound to be worth a trip.  The brochure, beautifully designed by Leeds Uni alumnus and man about theatre Dick Wilcocks, can be downloaded here
